Evaporator Specifications
The Evap-O-Dry is delivered complete and skid-mounted with burner, combustion blower, exhaust system, evaporation chamber, and solids discharge auger.
The evaporator systems have benefited from years of Fenton Expertise and come with a number of advantages:
- Efficient
- The evaporator uses a submerged burner tube which fires below the solution level, achieving a >95% energy efficiency rating.
- The hot gas contact with the liquid creates almost instantaneous vapor while the combustion gases rapidly mix the liquid for even heat distribution.
- Burner tube orifices are positioned below 180 degrees, allowing the tube to be continuously self purging.
- Easy
- All components are skid mounted for easy transport and installation.
- The systems require minimal operator attention, utilizing PLC computerized controls and monitoring systems.
- Fenton's custom designed conveyor system allows for easy, hands-off removal of sludge from the evaporator system.
- The system can be paired with one of Fenton's Fenix biosolids dryers for maximum ease in sludge processing and disposal.
- Reliable
- Evaporators are designed with a minimum of moving parts to keep maintenance needs low.
- All wetted surfaces on the evaporator are constructed of 304 stainless steel with a 3/16" wall thickness on models 100-500.
- Fenton offers an exclusive Chloride Corrosion Package for facilities processing effluent containing chlorides.
